5 day Training program on SLO based Teaching & Assessment

Helpers Public School & College Girls Campus recently conducted a comprehensive 5-day training program on SLO (Student Learning Outcomes) based Teaching & Assessment. This program was designed to enhance teachers’ skills in effectively aligning their teaching methods with clear, measurable learning outcomes. Teachers from various departments participated in the training, which focused on modern educational techniques and assessment strategies.

The training sessions were led by experienced educators and trainers, who guided the participants through practical approaches to SLO-based teaching. Teachers learned how to develop lesson plans that ensure students meet specific learning objectives, along with strategies to assess their progress. The interactive sessions allowed teachers to share ideas and experiences, creating a collaborative learning environment.

Throughout the program, emphasis was placed on creating assessments that are directly linked to the learning outcomes, ensuring that students’ understanding and progress can be accurately measured. Participants also engaged in group activities, role-playing, and mock assessments to practice the new techniques. This hands-on approach helped them gain a deeper understanding of how to implement SLO-based teaching effectively.

The 5-day training program was a success, equipping teachers at Helpers Public School & College Girls Campus with valuable tools to improve their teaching practices. By focusing on clear learning outcomes and better assessment methods, the school is committed to providing a more focused and result-oriented educational experience for its students. Teachers left the program with renewed confidence and enthusiasm to apply these techniques in their classrooms.
